Apple did not make its presence felt at the CES, though there was no way the tech giant or its products would not get mentioned or discussed there. Brian White, analyst with Topeka Capital Markets, has predicted that the new gen iPad devices—the iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2—could be introduced as soon as this spring. Unfortunately, there is nothing substantive to prove the above assumptions, except that Apple has usually stuck to an annual product refresh cycle with a new iPad released usually in the March-April period.
Apple, however, had surprised us by launching a new gen iPad when the iPad Mini came out. What remains to be seen is whether the California based company will stick to this or revert back to introducing a new iPad once every year.
Also, of course, qualities to be expected of a new gen iPad include a thinner and lighter profile, faster processor, along with perhaps a retina display for iPad Mini (the latter more probable). Then the new iPad 5 is also likely to sport a thinner bezel design, something along the lines of the current gen iPad Mini.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
