The Viwoods is all set to introduce a new E Ink tablet device which it has named AiPaper. The company is claiming the upcoming AiPaper which is set to make its Kickstarter debut soon is the smartest E Ink tablet ever, one that can be considered to have the ability to think ahead as well.
That can be attributed to the advanced AI features that the e-note comes with. That includes the ability to convert handwritten notes into text. Among the other AI features the AiPaper comes with is the ability to create a summary of a given content. It will also be able to refine a given content by pointing out grammatical errors and suggesting alternatives. It will also generate meeting minutes, analyze content, generate articles, and so on.
There is also an AI-enabled digital assistant available as well that can be access via a voice button. Users can pose queries and other doubts to the assistant and have those cleared instantly. It also comes with a handwritten e-mail feature that the company claims makes writing e-mails or replying to any emails a breeze. Users will also be able to select and save certain portions of what they might have been reading for more in-depth study later on. On the whole, the company said they aim to enhance the convenience of learning or supporting creative pursuits with the new AiPaper e-note device, utilizing AI technologies.
Coming to its specs, the AiPaper will be featuring a 10.65-inch E Ink display having 2560 x 1920 or 300 PPI resolution. The one aspect that makes it unique is its super slim build, measuring just 4.5mm in thickness. As the website ereaderpro.co.uk mentioned, the AiPaper is going to be thinner than the reMarkable2 or the more recently launched Onyx Boox Go 10.3 that measure 4.7mm and 4.6mm respectively. Coming to its weight, the AiPaper tips the scales at just 370 grams. It supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. The accompanying stylus supports 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and comes with an integrated eraser.
Under the hood, the e-note comes with a 2.0 GHz octa-core processor that is coupled with 4 gigs of memory and 128 GB of native storage. Keeping the device going is a 4000 mAh battery which should last a couple of days easily even under the heaviest of workloads. The one aspect that also makes the AiPaper stand out from the rest is its OS. The tablet runs Android 13 which makes it a select few to come pre-installed with the more recent Android version. It also offers fingerprint lock and password protection to keep your documents and other contents safe.
Unfortunately, there is no info right now as to when it is going to reach markets or what it might cost when it eventually does. We will have that once the AiPaper appears on Kickstarter. Till then, you can also register on the company website. Stay tuned.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
