If you live in Canada, have around $550 to spare and don’t have an idea how best to spend that amount of money, here it is. Dell have just launched the Streak tablet device in that part of the world though what was missing is the usual fan fare that accompanies such high profile launches. The tablet has been priced at $549.99 and will work only on the Rogers network right now.
However, Dell has not confirmed what version of Android the tablet will run right out of the box. While the Streak by default runs Android 1.6, the upgrade to Froyo is expected any time. In fact, Dell has launched the Streak in Japan sporting the latest Android 2.2 Froyo. It remains to be seen if the same is carried forward to Canada as well.
With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
