Shortly after BlackBerry had launched the PlayBook tablet PC, it was but natural for everyone to speculate it would next be a 10 inch tablet that the company would now devote its resources in. So while rumor mills went over board with news of a bigger PlayBook tablet PC, things changed dramatically in between so that there also are now rumors that the rumored 10 inch tablet has been given a quiet burial.
The development though shouldn’t come as a surprise given the less than enthusiastic response that the current PlayBook has met with. Experts believe the 7 inch PlayBook has been a sort of half-hearted attempt on part of its makers and that the tablet has been pushed while still not being completely flawless. Inside sources point out that RIM had diverted many of those engaged in the company’s smartphone division into developing the PlayBook. For the time being, RIM would concentrate on their smartphone segment which is why it is believed the PlayBook would be the lone tablet for some time at least.
But then, there has been no official confirmation from RIM about a bigger PlayBook being under development and there is no official word either if such a thing has been pushed into the cold storage.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
