Sweden might beat UK as far as the availability of Samsung’s immensely popular Galaxy Tab is concerned. In fact, pre-orders for the tablet are currently being accepted by the Swedesh telecom operator Telenor. And the best thing is the 7 inch tablet will come free for anyone opting for the telecom operator’s Surfa Bass plan that will set one back by 369 SEK or 55 USD a month over a 2 year contract period. The Galaxy Pad is likely to reach UK shores on November 1st.
However, subscribers will have to shell out a quite steep 8856 SEK or 1320 USD once the contract term expires. Of course there are other plans as well for which you can get in touch with the official Telenor site. And as for that all important aspect, the availability of the Galaxy Tab itself, Telenor insists it can be as early as with the next 2 to 3 weeks.
