The beloved fan site Pottermore announced this week that it’s bringing the eye-catching art behind the appeal of the fantastical web experience to physical works of art. More than forty pieces are already available for purchase through the site’s shop, including images from Creature Chaos and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
“These products have been carefully curated by Pottermore’s team of experts in response to strong consumer demand,” said Verity Batchelder, Director of Consumer Experience, Pottermore, in a press release. “This is an exciting moment for US fans who have been clamoring for these products from the instant they were available in the UK in June and we’re thrilled to meet the demand in the U.S. We have commissioned established and up-and-coming artists to tailor-make beautiful posters and prints that we hope will surprise and delight fans. This is our way of bringing our audience closer to the magic of the Wizarding World.”
Prints available for purchase include artists’ renderings from key scenes in the original seven books, notable quotes from various characters in the series, and more. Typical prices range from around $24 to $50, ideal and timely enough for holiday gift giving for your favorite Potter fan.
