The Kobo Aura H2O Edition 2 is now available for Canadian and US customers to purchase from the main Kobo website and Chapters/Indigo. This is the first e-reader that Kobo has released in 2017 and many people are wondering if it is a good investment.
The new Kobo Aura H2O has double the amount of internal storage than the original and also features the brand new Comfortlight. The front-lit display not only has the white LED’s and also RGB. This is meant to limit the amount of blue light that emits from the device.
Our review video goes over the overall hardware specs and runs down what makes this different from the first generation H2O. If you are interested in finding out how the Confortlight works in real life conditions we demonstrate this in the video. Additionally, we also dive into the e-reading experience, buying e-books directly from Kobo and the new home screen.
