There are plenty of e-readers to choose from and most of the biggest names in the industry are running a series of deals and discounts. Some are running promotions in a bid to clear stock for newer models that will be released in the next few months, while others are running Father’s Day promotions. Here is a rundown of all of the best ones.
Kobo
Over the course of the past few months, Kobo and their various retail partners have been putting the Clara HD on sale. The current promotion on the main Kobo website has the e-reader available for $114 in Canada, the regular price is $139.99. On the Kobo website in the United States, they are marketing it for $99 and the everyday price is $119. It looks like the company is trying to dump all of the remaining stock, since they have a new model that is coming out soon, the Kobo Nia.
Onyx Boox
Onyx Boox is having a sale on the Good e-Reader Store. The first big deal is the Onyx Boox MAX 3, which is one of the only 13.3 digital note taking devices on the market. The list price is $859 and it is now on sale for $773. The Onyx Boox Note 2 is their second general e-note with a 10.3 inch screen, the normal price is $549 and is on sale for $522. The Nova 2 came out earlier this year and this device can read ebooks, and also take notes. This is the first time this product has ever been discounted! The list price is $339 and is on sale for $322.
Barnes and Noble
Barnes and Noble has been running a sales promotion on their latest generation 7.8 inch e-reader, the Nook Glowlight Plus, since April. While 600 retail stores remain closed, they have to sell as many devices as possible and since they are sitting on a huge inventory, it only makes sense to continue to sell them online at a 10% savings. The regular price is $199 and you can order one today for $179.
Amazon
Amazon has the entry-level Kindle marked down to $64.99, which gives you a total savings of $25, you can choose between the black and white colors. Meanwhile, the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite is on sale for $99.99 for the 8 GB model and $124.99 for 32 GB. Each of these prices provides $30 off the regular price. There is also two new colors of the Paperwhite, Plum and Sage.
Pocketbook
The brand new Pocketbook Color e-reader is going to come out next month and Good e-Reader is providing a discount for the pre-order phase. The entry level Touch HD has been discounted by $10, the 10.3 inch Pocketbook InkPad X provides a $20 savings and ditto with the 7.8 inch Pocketbook InkPad 3 Pro.
Fujitsu
Good e-Reader is now an authorized distributor of the Fujitsu Quaderno. The Quaderno A5 is a 10.3 inch digital note taking device and we are offering a $10 discount on the product and you can also buy the new Quaderno A4, which is a 13.3 inch e-note and also has a $10 savings.
