There are a few different devices you can buy if taking notes and editing PDF documents is something that that sounds like a good idea. There are the prosumer E Ink variety that come with a stylus and allow you to work on documents for weeks at a time, before you need a recharge. There are also the Microsoft Surface and Samsung Galaxy Note if you want something a little more portable. When it comes to Apple products the only models with stylus functionality is the iPad Pro line of tablets, none of the smartphone variants have it, but a new report is proclaiming that the new iPhones coming out later this year might have Pencil support.
It’s unclear if Apple will release a smaller Pencil for the iPhone, as the current version could be rather unwieldy for use with an iPhone. Apple has yet to update the Pencil’s design since it first launched three years ago. It is also unknown if only one single iPhone will have Apple Pencil support, or if they all will.
