An OS update for the Iconia Tab A100 has been put up by Acer. With the update users of the tablet would be getting Android 3.2.1 on their devices. As of now people living in Canada, Argentina, Italy, France, Spain and Japan would get the update live from Acer.
People in the regions mentioned above would get a notification on their tablets about the upgrade. However, if you can’t wait, you can get it via the manual process. Just follow the steps — Settings >> About Tablet >> System Update >> Check Now. One would then be required to select the version of upgrade that is applicable to them.
Like 3.2 – Acer_A100_1.014.08_COM_GEN1 for those with the older version and
3.2.1 – Acer_A100_2.007.04_COM_GEN1 is the newer version.
The update is of 234 MB and those who have installed it on their device mention that it has updated their Android Market application and the Kernel.
