Come September 18 and there is a new tablet that our American friends can pick up. Its the Iconia Tab A501 that Acer is all set to launch in the US with AT&T as its partner. Cost wise, the Honeycomb tablet will set one back $480 though there also is a cheaper option — $330 and its here that the AT&T’s rather controversial 4G network comes into play. For one has to agree to a 2 year plan to avail of the A501 at the sweetened $330 price tag. The prices mentioned is for the 16 GB version of the tablet.
Now coming to the Honeycomb part of it, the Acer A501 will ship with Android 3.0 Honeycomb but will be provided with the Android 3.1 upgrade soon OTA. However, just how soon, the company has declined to commit to that just yet.

With a keen interest in tech, I make it a point to keep myself updated on the latest developments in technology and gadgets. That includes smartphones or tablet devices but stretches to even AI and self-driven automobiles, the latter being my latest fad. Besides writing, I like watching videos, reading, listening to music, or experimenting with different recipes. The motion picture is another aspect that interests me a lot, and I'll likely make a film sometime in the future.
