The Samsung Galaxy Tab 730 has finally made it to the Indian retail scene almost 2 months behind schedule. The 8.9 inch sized tablet can be picked up for INR 31,990 from a retail shop while online retailer Letsbuy is offering the same for INR 32,445. Flipkart is another online store that has listed the tablet at INR 30,990 though aren’t mentioning any specific launch date as yet.
The tablet runs on a 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor with 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. The screen size is 8.9 inch and it sports two camera — a 2 megapixel unit at the front along with a 3 megapixel unit at the rear. Other features of the tablet include Bluetooth 3.0, HSPA+ connectivity and Touchwiz UX.
The Galaxy Tab 730 will also come pre-loaded with apps such as Live Panel, Polaris Office, Social Hub, Google Maps among others. Also, while there are no e-book reading apps included in the package, those who’d like to indulge in e-book reading with the Samsung tablet can opt for any suitable apps currently available.

It also comes pre-loaded with My Reader that gives Indian consumers access to 17 Indian newspapers, 17 Indian Magazines and 30,000 Indian language books. Furthermore, the Mobile TV application on the Samsung tablets gives consumers access to 55 Indian television channels. The devices are also designed with Samsung’s Social Hub, which aggregates email, instant messaging, contacts, calendar and social network connections into a single interface.
